When your entrepreneurial spirit drives you, new ventures just cannot be passed up. Jerry joined DuxxBak Composite Decking in 2019 after having spent 30 years manufacturing equipment for the airline industry. An engineer by training, he has a love for the detail and craftsmanship that goes into components we use to enjoy our lives. He has been a lifelong resident of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula making him an official Yooper! He resides in the UP with his wife and 5 kids where they enjoy being on the water either sailing or boating.
Brandon Beard
Brandon BeardPresident
Hailing from Wrightstown, WI, Brandon brings the traditional strong farming community work ethic to his position that has served him well throughout his entire career. He has focused on quality and operations leadership and has a 6 Sigma black belt (which has nothing to do with karate). Brandon has led many projects with large customers like 3M, Proctor and Gamble, Hormel and others. We’re fortunate to have his passion for leading and driving high performance teams and look forward to where he can take our company, personally and professionally. Brandon has been married to Amanda for 16 years and they have three daughters. He enjoys all genres of music, is an avid reader, a HUGE Wisconsin sports fan, and he enjoys being active in his community by mentoring and coaching young adults.
Lanny Jass
Lanny JassNational Sales Manager/Distribution
Lanny has been involved with the company since 2005 when LDI acquired the business from Kadant Composites. He facilitated the sale of the company to the current ownership group in 2009, and is currently focused on building the company’s distribution and dealer network. A long-suffering Vikings fan who watched all four Super Bowl losses, Lanny and his wife Karen relocated from Minneapolis to North Carolina in 2019 and are enjoying the difference in climate as well as the chance to spend more time with our customers in the Southeast.

Jessica has been with DuxxBak Composite Decking for over 20 years. Jessica’s leadership has guided the company in multiple capacities over the many years. Most recently, Jessica is leading the Customer Service Team as well as being the Accounting Manager. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and following football, not limited to the Green Bay Packers. However, the Packers are her favorite team!
Mindy Gordon
Mindy GordonCustomer Service Coordinator
Mindy has been an integral part of the Customer Service Team at DuxxBak Composite Decking since 2005. As a Customer Service Coordinator, Mindy is committed to always insuring the needs of our valued customers are realized. In her free time, Mindy enjoys living life to the fullest, spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and spending time with her highly energetic boys. Work hard, play hard!
